Planning: Tips for an effective music video

This tutorial focuses on putting images into into the music video as well as editing to the beat, which I already have practiced doing. In this tutorial, the images work really well as it layers a deeper meaning to the song and allows the audience to take in the 'artist' being portrayed, and deciding from then what type of person she is. I will be using images now, after I watched this tutorial because it can make the music video we will be creating more effective. It also provides a sense of pause - to let the audience 'take in' the music video -or in together words, have time to think what the meaning and messages are behind the music video. If I incorporate  images onto our music video, the images will most probably be of the artist posing in front of a striking art work. The images will overlap the visual video - to create a '3D'- affect and highlights Carol Vernallis's ideas on editing.
